Sea Haar in da Distance
A fairly calm and sunny day, warm too in the sun. The car was reading 18-19 degrees.
I was up early, and headed into Lerwick to get errands for mam, and Madeline. I got Madeline's delivered, and mam's tomorrow. After the supermarket, I headed to work at home. I sneaked out a couple of times, to hang washing out. I took the afternoon off, and headed to the peat hill. A few hours work tonight, some walkies and then feet up. Coronavirus cases rise again, now up to 54.
While I was working in the peat hill, I spied some cloud in the distance. On closer inspection, it was sea haar (mist) coming ashore. Mist came over Scalloway last night, thankfully vanished just as quick, and when thinking it was a glorious day all over Shetland, some poor communities had this. Looking north from my peat bank at Hill of Fitch, towards the village of Tingwall, and Catfirth and Nesting covered in haar.
