The Coal Spoil

A walk from home and on the return leg we walked over a friends farms field to Cwmnofydd Lane, Machen, Caerphilly, South Wales (UK).

Looking across the fields on top of the mountain is a massive coal spoil, a legacy from the Coal Mining days of The South Wales Valleys, with part of Machen Village underneath.
