Truth be told, the turtles were stationary, sunning themselves on the log. There were quite a lot earlier in the day, but these were the last ones out.

Looks like they were on an adventure though.

Taken at 400mm and cropped a bit, but still a decent image. The highlights on their shells are quite pronounced and, although I could recover them somewhat, another time I should probably take multiple exposures to get better colour. They are the subject in this case after all.
