More work/revision this morning. Fish and chips for dinner from a chippy in WW. Saw this rainbow art on the wall opposite the chippy. Really lovely seeing rainbows all over the place.

This evening I wasn’t really in the mood for a walk but I went along anyway and am SO glad I did. We rediscovered the hidden field, felt like we were in the Secret Garden or something! Headed over to the rope swing where we created a game: Swing Football in a Bomb Crater. Someone stands in the crater and throws the ball to the swinger who has to kick it. We started off playing a basic kick and catch game, but after about 40minutes upgraded to a ‘how high’ and ‘how far’ can you kick it. Just like yesterday, Dad was as excited as a child on Christmas to take his turn. He was in the lead for a while, then Heidi overtook him, then I did. But of course Joe couldn’t let me win...so he took a final few (many) kicks and absolutely smashed my ‘records’. But there’s always tomorrow.. bring it on Joe.

We managed to capture a lot of both the good and failed attempts of kicks on camera which has brought us even more delight!
