Norfolk Island Pine

I learnt the other day that this magnificent tree that is widely seen in SA is called Norfolk Island Pine (Araucaria heterophylla). I really like them, but they seem to grow very tall, not suitable for a small garden.

It was a lazy sunny day and in the evening we were again invited to friends for dinner. They had made carpetbagger steaks, which were delicious.
