Many thanks for the lovely comments, stars and hearts for yesterday’s view across the outgoing tide of the Moutere Inlet, NZ.
Coronavirus - Day 29 of Lockdown in NZ
Total coronavirus cases across NZ remains at 1451 - NB, the total remains the same as yesterday because three cases reported yesterday had been aboard the Greg Mortimer cruise ship, which was stranded off South America. They had already been counted in Uruguay's total, and so New Zealand has reclassified them to avoid double-counting by the World Health Organisation.
An increase of 3 new cases today
Death Toll across NZ is now 16, an increase of 2 (female in 60’s and male in 70’s)
Number in Hospital 8 - with 1 of these in ICU
Recovered 1065
Total number of people tested for virus across NZ 101,177
These statistic are for the whole of NZ and announced daily at 1pm via a live broadcast on national TV.
