Michael Hancock's Pillars

Yep, more blue skies and ‘cool’ breeze. The little back yard is back to rights. I may need to rub down the table and chairs there though. Another day.
Having had enough of those sorts of things, and having spent a while grubbing out weeds and publishing garden vanity photos on FaceBook, I took myself off for a cycle about. The coffee shop the daughter told me about was just closing, so I wound my way onward until I found something photogenic. This.
Later, watched Johan Giesecke on Unherd, outlining the Swedish approach to the Coronavirus. I must say, that I’m very attracted to it - there’s something about our approach that I find quite repellant. The whole media-lead, panicking frenzy of it. The daily death charts briefing. And as for Michael Ball and Captain Tom Moore warbling away with saluting soldiers and waving NHS nurses…  What a sad charade. Am I turning into a grumpy old curmudgeon? Or maybe I'm actually just a typical Swede.
