Reasons to be grateful

Well for a start, living with this view.

No school today - well, no school for six weeks of course, but no online teaching today as it is a public holiday in Turkey - and as much as I love my job and my students, after five straight weeks of teaching on line, and all the learning that has gone with it (on my part!),  I am glad to have had a screen free day.

National Sovereignty and Children's Day is a public holiday in Turkey commemorating the foundation of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, on 23 April 1920. It is the only holiday, which is devoted to all children of the world by Ataturk. It is also observed by Northern Cyprus. Wikipedia
