Early(ish) walk

I went out for, what for me was, an early morning walk this morning. I left home just before 8.30, which I know isn’t early to lots of people but it was an achievement for me! As you can see it was relatively quiet although not as quiet as it appears from this photo! I had a lovely walk in the sunshine and found the early morning users of the Common to be friendlier and better about social distancing than the afternoon users! I spent the afternoon in the garden reading. I’m reading The Salt Path, which is really good. Did clapping for the key workers tonight, always feels very moving. The ships in the docks blast on their hooters at 8 which makes quite a noise.
