Shrill instrument.
Our younger son was working at a School Hub much of the day.
We watched the First Minister’s press conference. She discussed the document “COVID-19 – A Framework for Decision Making” released today. I read it this afternoon. It explores the challenges associated with continuing to suppress the virus and minimise it’s harms, whilst restoring some semblance of normality to our everyday lives. Quite some balancing act. And no quick fix.
Family FaceTime - not quite as upbeat today. Understandable.
We set off for our daily walk just before it was time to #clapforkeyworkers #ClapForTheNHS : that’s where the whistle comes in! I produced it (and got a laugh from my family!) and blasted away as others from houses rattled pots and spoons, shook a shaker and a tambourine; and clapped. In the midst of it all a Police Scotland van appeared - blue lights and siren on - and they applauded too! Quite emotional. And a great effort again in our neighbourhood.
We walked round the park and came home by the houses at the edge of the woods as the sun set.
