Blocking crochet squares

As a novice crocheter, I have no idea how important it is to block my granny squares, with the aim of making them all the same size and shape, but I did it anyway. I was quite proud of my equipment to stretch and wet them, improvised from an old box file, kebab sticks and a box of meringue nests.
