Memento Mori

He was brought in with us last week. He was in a state to leave for the heavenly abode. Lots of pain and the will to go. One of his last wishes was a glas of wine. We could provide that and he drunk a glass or 2.
Y' day morning he could finely set of his body for ethernal life.
When he arrived they brought also his wheelchair and the ambulance aid asked if i could park him inside our care center. When i saw his wheel car i recognised who this person is. Saw him so many years in our city roaming around. Never thought i ever would sit in his wheelchair to steer it to the last resting place. We had to cover the chair especially in this pandemic era. Luckily there s no infection with him.
I think it was good for him staying the last days with us in stead of dying in a clinic.
