Just Hanging Around

Back to the kitchen table desk today.  Lots of calls one after the other, so one of those days where you don’t feel like you actually achieve very much real work.  I was glad to log off and to be cooking tea.  I made chickpea puttanesca, which went down very well.  I will make it again.  Later I headed out for my daily exercise.  I was a bit late, but as I walked out of town, I could see that Traprain Law had disappeared, so low clouds and mist were adding to the gloominess.  It seemed to get dark earlier than I had expected it, so I was keen to make progress with my walk.  At one point I was walking down a country road in the almost dark and a huge cattle float appeared out of nowhere.  I was glad to get back on a path that took me back into town and streetlights.  Once I got home I finished watching The Nest.
