Angry Birds

We decided to have another walk by the river today.  This lovely sunny weather seems to be continuing and there were a few people there but not too many as it was still early.

We spotted a heron halfway up a tree on the way back.  I took a photo then a crow appeared and started dive-bombing the heron; obviously she thought he was resting too close to her nest.  It took a few dives but eventually the heron flew to the ground and was joined by his mate.

I was also pleased to see a thrush not too far from the path. I've added a picture to the extras.
