The day pretty much followed its usual "lockdown" pattern for one of Cathy's working days.  She locked herself away in the study and I spent the morning sorting out Dad's mountain of historic paperwork until lunchtime.  After a break for lunch Cathy went back to work and I plugged the guitar in and got to work ...  I've been playing for a long time and have fairly good calluses on my left hand's finger tips, but working on bending techniques for 90 minutes is pretty painful even so.  Still, no pain no gain, or so they say.

This evening we've enjoyed home made fish and chips, it being Friday.  We've taken to cooking fish and chips on Fridays and still really enjoying the decadence ...  ;-)
