Escape From Sector 7-G

Colditz

I was at the funeral of an elderly aunt today.

With the COVID restrictions in place, it was a frustratingly unfulfilling goodbye, but the sun was shining at least and I was glad to be there.

Under current lockdown circumstances, the drive through to the west coast of Scotland was liberating. Quiet open roads, stunning weather and beautiful scenery passing the Ochil Hills, Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond (still with some snow) and finally the crematorium in a lovely spot overlooking the Clyde estuary.
Mixed emotions and a day I will remember.

I stopped at Stirling Castle for a blip on the way home.
