Say No More

For the first time in history all British Newspapers have run the same 4-page wrap across all publications. It all started last Friday with the national and regional daily papers and continued with the weekly titles for the next seven days. In the picture is a selection of Newsquest titles printed at Oxford this week, all our contract customers have also been running the same wrap across their titles as well, it is wonderful to see the joint effort between rivals coming together when needed. Logistically this has been a bit of a nightmare, due to papers coming out of the folder upside down so you only get to see the back page without the title banner, so everything looked the same. Not had any complaints of wrong pallets being delivered to the wrong place yet!!!! So well done to all the mailroom staff for being very vigilant not just in Oxford but Deeside as well. I would just like to say how brilliant all my staff across both sites have been during this pandemic, the professionalism and dedication they have shown during this is not just a credit to them but a credit to every community that our papers reach, they say not all hero’s wear capes..
