... or Ornithogalum Umbellatum for the likes of MrsW who talks Latin when it comes to plants. According to The Cambridge British Flora it is "one of the characteristic plants of the very light, sandy soils of western Norfolk, western Suffolk and eastern Cambridgeshire" although these two little clumps (2nd is in extras) growing next to each other by the River Great Ouse are the only ones I've seen in our area.
