Green Winged Orchid

Today I took Mum to a local meadow to see the tiny green-winged orchids that bloom at this time of year. we both really enjoyed walking around the field, admiring the wild flowers but especially Mum, as it's the first time in weeks that she's been more than a couple of hundred yards or so from the house. I was relieved the car would still start to make the short journey :)
