All the 9's

For the first time in weeks the Penn was off the nest and a count was possible of this years clutch! We believe we are about 10days off hatching. There are again 9 eggs 2 years ago the same pair hatched 9 eggs last year 8 out of 9 hatched! It is rather spooky that she lays 9 as the Canals 9.5 miles long and has 9 locks !!
