May is out

‘Ne’er cast a clout ‘til May is out’ . I’ve never quite known whether that means the plant May (hawthorn) or the month of May. But I the hawthorn is certainly blooming now after the beautiful weather of the past week and I spotted some at the beginning of today’s walk.
We had a meeting of our Mindfulness group over Zoom and it was so good to have a chat with everyone again over coffee.
I hope our daily virus figures are going to start coming down appreciably soon.
