The curve steepens.
I shot these yesterday and the Sun was way too bright. It took a lot of faffing to get the flowers from almost white to something closely resembling reality; which was, in part, the reason for the display of manky oranges.
Today I was harvesting my daily dose of vit. D when I noticed they were now in shade from the rhododendron, to be seen late; try No. 2. The result, as my young next-door neighbour at Whitehaven was wont to say, was "Much more betterer."
The curious thing is - after yesterdays faffing, the flowers, though looking nearer the correct colour and fit to show, actually looked as though they'd been laid on top of the picture; today they look similar and yet there was zero faffing with the colour.

Note to self:-
DO try and remember to shrink the damthing. It's DAFT when you have to "View large" to get it small enough to fit the page.
