Home sweet home!

Gail and I have never made a secret of the fact that we can't go on running photographic workshops forever, and we're looking at stopping running the UK workshops in another 4 - 5 years, (so no panic).

Bearing this in mind, we casually started looking at houses to move on to a few months ago - as this is our last planned house move, we rightly realised that it could take 4 - 5 years to find the house to suit.

The best laid plans never run smooth, after many houses looked at on the internet, a fair number of "drive bys" and a good number of visits, we stumbled on this one, an 18th century farm and barn conversion complete with a studio in the garden, in a lovely village in the Eden Valley; totally fell in love with it, and completed the purchase today! Simply couldn't let it go, as we would have spent many years looking for somewhere else that compared with it.

Whilst we will spend the odd holiday there over the next few years, we're going to let it out as a holiday let in the meantime.

So .. this is why I've been busy over the last few weeks, and unable to comment on pictures as much as I would have liked.
