Not Wild garlic
Taken on our early potter. I'm pleased to see some tiny droplets of dew show up on the leaves in this photo, which is obviously a crop from a larger photograph, given how small wild garlic flowers invasive Allium paradoxum (thanks, gen2 for the comment) are.
After work, we had a nice chat with EH on what's app. She's coping ok on her own, but it's quite a struggle, given what she had to put up with last year and given her extrovert character. Also arranged a couple of virtual social sessions for the weekend.
For evening entertainment, we made friends with iplayer and watched first a documentary about Peggy Guggenheim, and then a documentary made by Anthony Gormley about early art, which I must confess to having slept most of the way through.... I might try and watch it again.
Addendum: starting to take an interest in other countries' exit strategies, and noting the absence of any sensible discussion at UK level (except at the devolved levels of government). None of this can work without contact tracing (and of course the normalisation of a continued pretty high level of pressure on ICU from COVID-19 and consequent death rate).
