Saturday - The Ibis Have Returned

I got up at 5.45am because somehow I’d accidently set the alarm for my getting up for work time!  Went out on the rooftop garden and could hear lots of trumpets and music in the distance for the Anzac Day memorials which people were doing from their driveways.  It was a lovely and sad sound and I shed a tear for those who lost their lives in all wars.

Its coming up to breeding season again for the ibis and Ive noticed them arriving back at the lake over the last few days.  This one was preening and turned and gave me the look! :o)
