Sunrise over icelandic hills

During our winter trip to Iceland the hours of sunlight were minimal. Sunrise wasn't until around 11am giving plenty of time for driving to scenic hills and mountains. On our drive we pulled over to admire the landscape as the sun came up. As the sun rises so late and sets so early it was great fun capturing the sun twice a day without having the troubles of setting the alarm for an early wake up call.
