Long ride

What a beautiful day. I slept in a bit this morning which felt good. Then I cut my husband’s hair - it was a bit nerve wracking but turned out well much to everyone’s surprise! A lovely lunch in the garden and a bit of bike fixing and then I set off with a few things Mum needed. It’s as good to see her albeit at a distance and I stayed for a chat in her back garden for a while. She’s now started seeing scrubs for the NHS - she’s such a kind soul. Cycling back was hard work as it was largely up hill and my bike decided it didn’t want to go into the lowest gear set so I had to work really hard!!! I made it back in time to sit in the late afternoon sun in the garden. My blip is a pic I took on my ride back home through the grounds of a local prestigious private school.
