Codd-neck
Codd-neck bottles, apparently, but I had to search the Internet to discover that. The gardener in the family has found several of these over the years; her father told her a while ago that he and his friends used to break the necks to retrieve the marble stopper, and you can see that both of these bottles have lost their necks, although the left-hand one is has the most of its neck that we've found in our garden.
This was just a bit of practice with monochrome; I tried several lenses, from 50mm to 8mm and the 50mm looked best.
And in other news, I reckon the heating will be back on tonight, along with the fire . . .
