Mr P's list#2

Great excitement, Mr P added a new bird to his list. That's 25 since January now and I managed to get a shot through the conservatory glass. It's a yellowhammer.  We've never seen one before, feeling chuffed.   We saw Mr and Mrs, he was more yellow.

We had a Zoom drinks and nibbles session with A&G in Sedbergh which meant I drank much more wine than normal. Oh well!"

Day 37
Hospital deaths over 20,000, very depressing especially as this excludes care homes and the community. Have noticed that countries with female Prime Ministers have low death rates- Norway, Iceland, New Zealand, Germany, Taiwan., Denmark.  All acted very quickly  to protect their people. I wonder whether there were arguments, here,  behind the scenes,  about the economy which led to us locking down a month later than we might have done.
