Down t’ pit....

A misty start again but it soon burned off for another sunny day. Started to load barley into a trailer to take next door as wee brother has run out. Was getting on fine until all the conveyors and elevators jammed up. So had to go next door for the industrial hoover and spend the next couple of hours unblocking everything .
Eventually took the loaded trailer across at 4pm !
The roads still hoaching with folk in Lycra on bikes.
Gave the cow with mastitis her final jag of antibiotics then turfed her and her calf back out to the field . It looks light I might have caught her just in time as the 2 right tits look clear again.
This photo of the conveyor tunnel always reminds me of Steve McQueen in The Great Escape !
