Too long locked down

Today has been a fun day inspite of the lockdown :-)

Slept really well......woke up to wall to wall blue skies & sunshine. Fruit for brekkie then out a walk. Spotted this fella in the passenger seat on his driveway, no idea how long he's been there!! lol ......lucky spot for Silly Saturday though ;-)

Once back home we hub cut both lawns whilst I did a couple of jobs. Took a few pics around the garden too. Sat on our bench listening to our neighbour singing & playing his ukulele. He is self taught and has become wuite accomplished, you can see him in extras, looking out after he heard my applause following his,rendition of The House of the Rising Sun.

Around midday we ordered our take out for delivery from Reds Cafe, we both had our usuals, with a large cappuccino.....really hit the spot too!

One of our neighbours had organised "lockdown bingo" for our Drive this afternoon. At 3pm, all 10 the occupants of the 10 houses appeared on their front garden/path, with chairs, refreshments and pens. Our bingo tickets were pushed through our doors last night. The bingo was automated, the csller played through a kareoke speaker, there was a prize table in the middle of the Drive, every family was at least 2 metres apart. 4 games, first a line, then the full house. Afterwards we all continued to chat at a distance.....we were still out there at 7.45pm the pepsi had turned to beer, and then to whiskey ;-) We needed somehting to eat so called it a day, but as I type this, its 10.15 and some of our neighbours are still sat outside chatting ;-)

First time hubs not watched the daily update, tonight we've watched BGT and Casualty both a bit disappointing .......
