Venus

out of my bedroom window at 10.00 this evening, was the Ochils, a smudge of red from sunset, a bright sliver of new moon and a very bright venus shining above it... beautiful sky.

Extras - had a go at photographing Venus with my wee canon because it does have a good zoom and really astounded by what I managed to get.  In the first one I knocked the highlight right down to try and see more detail ..   Might have another go tomorrow using a tripod.  Also intrigued by what looks like clouds and also a dark spot - bit of googling has more detail https://www.space.com/6188-study-explains-dark-spots-venus.html
