At the Rookery Again Today

No chicks yet at the rookery. Most of the birds were down in their nests maybe sitting on eggs. This one was having a good old groom fest. I'm guessing he or she does not have eggs in the nest  yet. The extra is a Spotted Towhee aka Rufous Sided Towhee. It was rustling around in the grass along side the path I took down to the rookery. Seemed to be having a good time and I was able to get closer than usual to grab a shot. The greenery is growing and it's getting harder to photograph the birds.
