Ava and a green snake

We had our first bike ride today and then Ava and Carrie came by (dad and sister featured yesterday) to explore the pond, catch salamanders and frog eggs, chase a few frogs and cray fish, admire the turtles and catch and release this snake. More surprise visitors later, all keeping the proper distance:) Extra is what I think is a Myrtle Warbler that I saw at the pond at the bottom of our road. (huge crop!)
