Yvonne Loves Lockdown

If Yvonne was a store
she’d have CLOSED
on the door

for Yvonne is, 
and always has been,
a closed shop.

Though ‘happy’
is the wrong word for her
Yvonne is happy to obey
the lockdown law.

Yvonne stays in
and rides Roger.

For mile after mile after mile
she rides him hard.

Roger is her Saviour.

If anything could 
bring a smile
to her unfortunate face
it would be Roger.

Roger is her exercise bike.
