Ride on Buddy this morning after shifting a load of hay. He's full of beans. Some stupid old busy body made a snidey remark that she "couldn't believe I was riding in this climate' as she walked her over weight long coated retriever up the wrong side of a busy main road with no pavement in the mid morning heat!! But I kept that to myself cos I don't need to judge strangers on the street and I'm not rude!

Got some more planting done in the garden. I might have over ordered plants! Not helpful that the supposed mixed tray of trailing and bedding plants contained 13 fuscias and just 2 petunias(different varieties but still!). I've given some of them to a neighbour but still struggling to find room for the rest.

After years of telling the kids we can't fit a trampoline in the garden, we have come up with a plan to make better use of the bottom of the garden!

I have found an oval shaped trampoline that will fit close to the fence. The delivery won't happen till the end of May which is a shame as we could really do with somewhere in the garden for Tobes to burn off energy right now, but it will give us time to clear the space.

Tobes is struggling at the mo. He needs more physical activity and he's getting frustrated with things. He's not being cooped up as such cos we havr the garden, and dog walks and bike rides but he's bored at home now and can't find the motivation to do much. He just wants to play Minecraft and Skype Abi, about Minecraft. Constantly.

Mike did a BBQ this evening and we finished the day with a zoom pub quiz with the mums and dads group. Was lovely to see everyone and the quiz was good fun too. Kids said they wanted to camp in the garden tonight but when it came down to it Eva came inside so just Tobes and Mike.
