Dougie the dug

Out on another of our rambles today and came across a couple of grave stones. This one is for Dougie - a little dog who lived in the village when we first arrived. He didn’t seem to have an owner and moved from house to house - taking up residence with whoever seemed friendly and had food. He died in 1999 - which means we’ve been here a long time.
