Checking the lambs...

The dogs were in charge of checking the lambs this morning. Thought this shot of them was interesting. Pretty sure they could drive it. The farmer arrived afterwards with a trailer of carrots for the sheep.
Another lovely day, not quite as hot, but that is fine.
Got a fright when something sounding like a machine gun opened up behind me. The Woodpecker had a very dead branch to drum and the sound seemed to echo round.
Found the first Water Avens in flower.
The Lapwings were mating again in preparation for a second brood!
