Access to the Ice ?

The new works access road to the currently frozen Hurst Reservoir in Glossop is nearly complete.

The emptying of the reservoir and dismantling of the dam will soon be underway. It's going to be an interesting time to keep an eye on the progress.

I managed a photo of the Dipper and a few of the ice but it was wickedly cold so I soon turned tail for home.
