Damselfly

Another beautiful day which makes this social distancing so much easier and more bearable...four weeks now and so it continues. Had the regular Sunday morning date with some of the Somerset AYWMC group on a Zoom meetup where we shared our haiku compositions on 'cake.'
     Carrot cake, with cream
     Fingertips mop up the crumbs.
    Gone, the midnight feast.
A bit of fun and something else to keep the brain active.
Then early afternoon a very welcome visit from G, along with my shopping she had added to her online order. We sat in the front garden, a good six feet apart and chatted for a couple of hours.....so good to see her and the highlight of my week.
I have seen several damselflies around the pond, and some mature tadpoles in the depths......
