What a day

From the start I knew this was not going to be an average Sunday.

Shiv enjoyed a long snuggle in bed after she woke us up with a howl. Early chat with mum indicated that things at home were not good at all.

Dad has now been admitted. Good news is that he hasn’t fractured or dislocated a hip as was the initial suspicion as a result of a number of falls, but he is in poor physical health so hopefully he is in the right place for now.

Preparing a supper of prawn fried rice was a good distraction.
