bright and beautiful

I set out on my bike this afternoon to see if these trees were ready to be photographed. There's always a short period of time when I drive past them and their new leaves seem to GLOW! Of course I haven't driven past them for weeks so it was a bit of a gamble, but here they are, GLOWING!

Other than that, I've spent some more time in the garden, made a banana loaf and phoned my parents. My dad (aged 87) is worried that he is going to lose his table tennis fitness so has hunted out some weights to exercise his muscles.

I'm on cooking duty tonight so had better go and prepare my playlist. I've put this on it as a kind of ironic comment on the weather. Pity they'll be too busy eating to watch the video :-)
