Asparagus (tip)

Last year we put a few asparagus plants into one of the raised beds we have in our front garden - we were not too sure of what to expect, so not overly disappointed when very little happened.  This year we have several long thin wand like stems growing - of which this is the shortest.  From what we understand - there might be something edible next year :-)

We just followed  the RHS advice and it looks to be going as they say :-)

I'm not a great fan of greens, but I do like asparagus so it will be good to have some of our own.
