More Reedy Ramblings

After a night's rest, my leg was feeling much less sore, fit enough for me to get up on the flat roof and clear the guttering that had been overflowing during the winter. Somehow, a plastic bottle had got stuck in the top of the down pipe on the higher of the two roofs - either a passing bird had dropped its booty or someone with a strong arm and a good aim had lobbed it up there.

Anyway, we passed the morning cleaning gutters and fascias then this afternoon we took another stroll across the fields to the bird reserve, where I took this reedy shot. Definitely more birds of all varieties around this year. A bittern was booming again.

A few video chats with the kids and that's taken care of another day in lockdown.
