Pebble stacks

Went out this afternoon for an hours brisk walk and found it interesting that people had spent their time out to make pebble stacks along the coastal paths. It looked like some of these were recent additions as a couple of them had 'caps' which looked like the slightest puff of wind would knock them off.
There were other pebble stacks on sea walls further along the coast.
