In which: self isolation day 36

This morning the day seemed very sunny but then the weather got significantly worse. I finished ‘Aphrodite’s Hat’. As always, literature gives us an insight into the world we are living in. This from a story called Troubles in that book: ‘All the troubles of the world stem from man’s inability to sit still in a room’, my grandmother used to say.’

A helpful dose of grandmotherly wisdom when lockdown chafes.

I got half way through ‘Where the Crawdads sing’

Tonight, I watched King Lear on BBC4.
