Life through the lens...

Clouds.

Clouds.
Something we haven’t see for a few days.
These were so white and fluffy they had to be my Blip today.
Reminds me of the song “ Clouds” ( or Both sides now) by Joni Mitchell.
Warm sunshine was not what we expected, but it is another glorious day.

I wasn’t dressed when our daughter- in - law brought our weekly supermarket shopping.
Nice to have a chat.
A real treat were two blocks of Lindt orange intense dark chocolate with almonds.
She also popped in a packet of dark chocolate digestive biscuits for Mr C, and a pack of frozen scampi.
Bless her. We do very much appreciate all that they are doing for us.

Today our eldest granddaughter started work at 7 am.
Her first shift in the neonatal ward at Pinderfields Hospital.
She texted her mum to say all was well, and she was really liking it. Working with a lovely lady. Such a positive girl or should I say young lady. We are so very proud of her. xx

Our walk was delayed by the appearance of two of our friends at the gate.
A real surprise.
C stood at the gate and R came into the garden. (We had to make sure he stood well away.)
It was lovely to see them. They had walked from the next village, and thought they would call as they were passing by.
Great to see them and we had a long chat.
They are part of our walking group too, and we were wondering when we would be out walking as a group again.

Have ordered some potting compost, fertiliser, and other bits and pieces from a local garden nursery. Luckily they will deliver free.

The rainbow cake was lovely. She had also taken some round to the other neighbours.
We are certainly being well looked after.

So remember take care, stay safe and keep smiling.
Off to have a sit in the garden while the good weather lasts.
Will be serenaded by the Blackbird again. I can hear it now, sat up in the tree, singing away..
