Mushroom

I went out specifically to get a shot of some wild flowers that I noticed last week. The golf course is closed Monday mornings for extra maintenance. It is the perfect time to go out wandering.

I did find my flowers (extra), but was distracted by the mushrooms that popped up after the overnight watering.

Using the Plant Snap app, I identified the flowers as Canaigre dock, or wild rhubarb. When I got closer to them I did think to myself the stalks looked like rhubarb. One more plant that is new to me. I love this area!

I am off to the grocery store...for once, grateful to be able to do this chore.
