The Beech Tree At The North Gate

This is the biggest tree in "The Policies" and is about 30 metres tall.

There are several other Beech Treed and a Copper Beech along with many seedlings which are slowly growing from fallen beech nuts.

S called today for a chat and catchup. We talk about the situations we find ourselves in.

S advises that three friends who are devout Muslims have the virus. One died recently. Apparently they had ignored the social distance rulings and guidance.

A sobering thought.
