Cactus gone wild!

I can't remember having seen a Saguaro cactus with quite so many arms. It obviously was very stressed out at one point. I know with orchids that sometimes spikes shoot out because the plant is stressed. A Saguaro cactus doesn't grow an arm until it's about 75 years old.
